Chic contemporary ceramic gas hob, available in two widths, 2" and 3".  The back plate, which is supplied with protective film) can be painted any colour you wish using simple craft acrylic paint. Classic black, or match it to the colour of your cupboard doors, or the floor tiles.  Knobs too can be painted black or silver.  The burners/pan supports can be polished for a steel look, or better still, painted black.
