Payment methods

We accept payment via Paypal or secure Card payment link (Cardsave).  You may also pay by personal cheque drawn on a UK bank, or by UK postal order (goods will be dispatched once the cheque/PO has cleared).   Or you may contact us by telephone to pay by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) between the hours of 10 am and 10pm UK time.   Please do NOT send us your card details by email.  Additionally we accept BACS payments from UK clients.  Please note that if you wish to make a bank transfer from another country, this MUST be in pounds sterling (UK Pounds, GBP).  Your goods will be dispatched when the payment has credited to our account. 

Shipping information

We do our best to dispatch stock items within 48 hours, but should there be any delay, we will inform you via email.

Shipping is calculated at checkout and is based on weight. Should the calculated shipping charge prove considerably more than the actual cost once the goods have been packed and allowing for the cost of packaging (we re-use packaging wherever possible) we undertake to issue you a refund of the excess charges. 

For overseas customers:

We ship using standard airmail for sending orders to our overseas customers. For greater security, please select International Signed For/Airsure, which is a tracked service.  

For UK customers:

We will use either Royal Mail 1st class or the Hermes courier service, depending upon the size and weight of the package. Royal Mail 1st class should arrive the next day while the Hermes service takes 2-3 days.    This change has come about due to the alterations in the pricing structure of Royal Mail, which mean that many relatively small parcels cost substantially more to send by Royal Mail, and therefore to keep costs down we use the courier service instead.

If you need a parcel urgently please choose the Special Delivery option – we will post using the Royal Mail guaranteed next day service; this will now cost a minimum of £7.25.

The small items discount – see below – will still apply.

For custom-built items, please allow up to 1 month for delivery.  We always aim to deliver before that, but in any case, we will always inform you of any delays.  

If you are buying SMALL accessories only, up to a total value of £25, you may be eligible for a discount on the shipping costs. This does not apply to furniture, dolls,  large appliances - washing machine, vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, oven, dishwasher, and refrigerators etc, or other large items such as flooring and carpeting (these require a box for shipping, which increases the costs).  We will refund you if you are eligible, to Paypal or to your payment card.

UK customers: the small accessories shipping discount applies only to items that can be sent by Large Letter post – if in doubt, please see the individual product listing (where it will state if the item is excluded).  The reduced shipping rate is £2.00.

Europe customers: reduced shipping rate is £3.50

Rest of the world: reduced shipping rate is £4.00

Returns policy

If you are unhappy with any of our products, please return the item in its original packaging, and we will happily refund the cost of the item.

Please note this does not apply to bespoke items that we have made to order, unless we have made an error (for example, if you had asked for something 3" long, and it was too large and would not fit where you had intended, we would replace the item free of charge.  If however you have given us the wrong dimensions, we regret that we cannot guarantee a refund, but will do our best to replace the item at minimum cost to you)

It is quite clearly stated on every page of our website that our items are scale miniatures, therefore if you order items thinking that they are full-sized and not miniatures, you may return the item, but we reserve the right to charge an administrative fee which will be deducted from the refund.
