WHAT MAKES AN ELF KITCHEN SO SPECIAL?

Well, firstly, each one is individually designed to create something unique that reflects your taste, and enhances your dollhouse. No two rooms are the same, so while you may like a particular style of kitchen shown here, yours will be designed and built to fit YOUR room, which may have doors and windows in places that make standard layouts impossible. The first two photos show kitchens in the rooms for which they were designed, while the rest of the pictures give an idea of the range of styles and finishes available.
If you would like more details, please download the kitchens catalogue from the Catalogues page, and remember that if you enjoy the satisfaction of creating something yourself, most of these kitchens can be made using our kits (click icon on the left). In addition to our standard bespoke range of fitted kitchens, the Mornington range offers fantastic value, with complete kitchens for under £100. Please download the ELF Mornington Range supplement for full details. To see larger images please click on the individual photos.

NEW! We now stock these wonderful Miele appliances. For details please download the Appliance Supplement at the bottom of the page.

The wonderful vibrant colour of this kitchen was chosen to compliment the tiles, which were already in the room, and taller wall units were used to create a better balance in a room with a very high ceiling. While traditional in style, the kitchen has very modern accents in the steel drawers that flank the freestanding oven, and the addition of a breakfast bar. Note also the arched shelf units that create interest in the upper part of the room. With thanks to Patricia Mikhail for permission to use this photo of the kitchen in her house.

This kitchen was designed to accommodate an open staircase and includes an ample broom cupboard at the base of the stairs. The green highlights pick up on one of the colours in the Mediterranean style tiled floor, whilst the use of lightwood keeps the overall effect light and modern. Note also the worktop lighting, which can be added to any wall units. With thanks to Jane Hunt for permission to use her photograph of the kitchen in her house.

With panels in silkwood, this impressive kitchen has several new features - a double oven, built-in espresso machine, integrated steel fridge/freezer, and a revolving corner carousel with removable inset chopping board. The island breakfast bar incorporates drawers and wine racks, and has a ceiling mounted extractor above the sensor hob. Also features wide drawer units and horizontal lift-up wall units. Total cost as shown £730.

This dramatic kitchen in white gloss, with black granite top and accents in silver features a wide oven with wine racks on either side, and ample storage provided by cupboards and drawers. As shown, £450

A kitchen in lightwood with clean lines and a light and airy feel, which features a column oven, tall larder, fridge freezer in a housing; a simple island creates a useful dining area. Cost as shown £475.

Here are two kitchens from the Mornington range. With fixed doors, these units are available in the same choice of finishes and worktops as our standard bespoke range. On the left is a beautiful shaker kitchen in pale green, £135 complete, while the red gloss kitchen on the right is only £95 plus £25 for the freestanding oven (by Delph). These kitchens start from as little as £55 for a run of base units including sink. Single units are priced from £10.

Limited space doesn't mean you have to compromise on style. Here a compact corner arrangement of fashionably wide drawers is teamed with an island in steel with a wide four burner sensor hob (above which an extractor attached to the ceiling, not shown) Corner units, £215. Island as shown £55.

This chic compact kitchen in black and steel with accents in mauve, was designed for a houseboat, and included a narrow breakfast bar on the side opposite the oven. It features tall tambour units (these don't open) and an underslung sink. As shown £245, with lower units opening.

No two ELF kitchens are the same! Here are two versions of the classic cream kitchen. While both are traditional "L" shaped kitchens, the one on the left features a Butler’s sink and corner oven, with worktop in cherry (£465), while on the right, deep drawers flank the oven and the worktop is dramatic black granite (£500).

This beautiful solid oak kitchen in a lovely honey tone was designed to accommodate two internal doors, hence the separate blocks of units. The tall section comprises larder, broom cupboard and fridge freezer. Elsewhere, cupboards, drawers and shelves offer ample space for storage and display of miniatures. As shown, with appliances by Delph, £640.

Another example of a stylish kitchen designed for a very limited space - the total depth of this kitchen is only 5 inches. With panels in red (you can choose any colour you wish) there is a wine rack and plate rack as well as a tall larder in addition to other cupboards and shelves. As shown, £465.

In classic white, this large kitchen features an impressive centre island. With beige worktop and cool chrome knobs the whole effect is very stylish. There are wide drawers on the right, and narrow drawer-line units either side of the wide oven, together with a larder unit and fridge freezer. As shown £665.

This kitchen demonstrates how the right choice of colour and style evokes a specific "look", in this case, that of the 1950's. The drawer line base units and wall units with figured sliding glass panels define the era and show how ELF can create one-off pieces to recreate a given "look". As shown, but without the oven (used here instead of the client's own period one) £240.

This is a traditional kitchen with strong Scandinavian influences. The Aga (by Gable End Designs) is given pride of place with the addition of an impressive extractor canopy. Above the units on the right, which include a Butler's sink, are two traditional open shelving units with echoes of another age. As shown, £350.

The tall salt and pepper mills shown in several of the kitchens are now available for sale. Sold in pairs, they cost £2.50 (£3.00 including P&P to UK and Europe, £3.50 to rest of the world.)
